Full B-Corp Status Pending…
We are edging ever closer to becoming fully B-Corp Certified.
Since 2006, B Lab have been known for certifying B Corporations, which are companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
They’re building the B Corp movement to change our economic system. B Lab creates standards, policies, tools, and programs that shift the behaviour, culture, and structural underpinnings of capitalism. They mobilize the B Corp community towards collective action to address society’s most critical challenges.
There was never any doubt that when we launched UniGreen, this would be something we had to work towards, and we are now pleased to announce that our ‘B Corp Pending’ status will so be moving to full B Corp Certification.
We’ve worked hard on this one, and the it would not be possible to achieve such certification if we didn’t follow and adhere to the strict standards and practices laid out by B Lab, which in itself speaks volumes with regards to our commitment to see this journey through to success – converting the world to bamboo.
